ATHLETICS

This important initiative will support the personal growth of our student-athletes, allowing them to compete at the highest levels, and helping them navigate an exciting and evolving college athletics environment. It will support scholarships, endowed coaching positions, team-specific special initiatives, and enhanced infrastructure that will power PC’s varsity athletic teams to achieve even greater success.

SLAVIN CENTER

This investment in a key student-centered space will include positioning the Chirico Career Center as a central hub, creating a “town square” with office space for student groups and lounge space for gatherings, while also incorporating flexible spaces for events and programming. The project will also have a positive impact on recruiting and retaining students.

EXPLORATION OF CATHOLIC FAITH

The thriving community of Dominican friars on campus is one of PC’s most treasured assets. This area of investment honors the Dominican community’s connection with our students by offering students pathways to strengthen their relationship with God through fellowship, service, prayer, worship, and faith formation. We will build on campus faith life traditions and nurture a community culture in which all members benefit from a common mission inspired by faith and aided by grace.

STUDENT WELLNESS AND POST-GRADUATE SUCCESS

We will strengthen health and wellness student services, offering confidential counseling, and building robust well-being and resilience coaching programs to help students navigate life’s challenges. Enhancements to club and recreational sports will complement these efforts by promoting physical and mental health. This funding priority will strengthen the bridge between current students and PC’s powerhouse alumni community to promote professional exploration and post-graduate student success.

I feel a tremendous sense of loyalty to the college which has greatly influenced my life. I am also impressed by Father Sicard’s leadership in the health sciences, which will allow PC to capitalize further on the outstanding science programs that we currently offer students.
