Chapel Anniversary
Celebrating St. Dominic Chapel
Our Beacon for 25 Years
As we mark the 25th anniversary of St. Dominic Chapel, we invite you to honor its legacy by contributing to its future and engaging with the faith community it nurtures.

Your gift to Campus Ministry supports retreats, service and immersion trips, peer ministry, and other spiritual programs that deepen students’ connections with God and neighbor.

These investment opportunities help ensure the college’s Catholic and Dominican mission animates and shapes Friars for generations – and beyond.

Smith Fellowships for Study and Service Abroad
Develop contemplative professionals dedicated to the common good through fully-funded summer experiences that integrate academic, professional, and spiritual growth. Smith Fellows are rising juniors and seniors who engage in global service and research inspired by the Dominican mission. Expanded funding will open opportunities to rising sophomores and support new experiences rooted in Catholic values.

Claverie Fellows Program
Guided by the Center for Catholic and Dominican Studies, this year-long program helps students deepen their relationship with God through retreats, mentorship, and faith-centered dialogue. Claverie Fellows engage in community experiences, scholarly conversations, and a concluding pilgrimage that foster spiritual growth and understanding of the Dominican tradition. Funding will help launch the program, support student experiences, and provide stipends for faculty mentors and visiting scholars.

Pre-College Summer Program
Designed to introduce rising high school sophomores and juniors to Providence College, this five-day, on-campus experience will introduce prospective students to life at a Catholic liberal arts institution. Participants will explore academics, spiritual life, and student activities while living in residence halls and engaging with faculty, alumni, and peers. Funding will support program development, student participation, and partnerships with Catholic high schools in key regions to strengthen PC’s national presence.
